Sophia Yang, MD

Dr. Yang completed her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley and further went on to earn her medical degree and master's degree at University of California, Irvine. She completed her residency training at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.

Dr. Yang is a patient advocate who practices evidence based full scope obstetrics and gynecology. She has particular interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic and vaginal surgery, providing gender affirming care to transgender and gender diverse people, family planning, health care policy, and striving for health equity.

Dr. Yang speaks Mandarin. She enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, the farmer's market, learning Spanish, and aerial arts.
