Trudy Xuan Pham, MD

Dr. Pham completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UC Davis. She has a lifelong interest in global health and working with vulnerable populations. She attended Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine and finished the last two years of medical school in Flint to participate in the Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved certificate program. She went on to complete her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
 
Dr. Pham practices full scope obstetrics and gynecology and enjoys taking care of women in all stages of life. She is passionate about women’s empowerment and strives to do her part by providing excellent care. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, sexual health, pelvic pain, and vulvar pathology.
 
For patients who need surgical care, minimally invasive gynecologic techniques are often associated with smaller incisions, shorter recovery times, and less post-operative discomfort compared to traditional open surgery. Dr. Pham’s interest in areas such as pelvic pain, sexual health, and vulvar conditions reflects her commitment to addressing concerns that women may find difficult to discuss — in an environment where every patient can feel heard and respected.
 
Dr. Pham is fluent in Vietnamese and is happy to see patients who prefer to communicate in Vietnamese. In her spare time, she enjoys live music, traveling, cooking, and everything outdoors.
 
Dr. Pham sees patients at Camellia Women’s Health locations in the Sacramento area.
